Sounded 80's.

Great though, addictive, techno and .. interesting lyrics. You'd get a label easily.

More hip-hop than anything.

Yeah, some parts were ambience but its mostly hip-hop and jungle, if you want some practice to learn of real ambience try Aphex Twin, Boards Of Canada, Death In Vegas etc. Quite good but sometimes it skips and doesn't sync. Like that xylophone thing, didn't fit at all.

Keep at it.

BritZombie responds:

Yeah reading the other reviews and realise this isn't really amibent in the traditional sense but that was the point of urban ambient.

Thanks for review

What I'd think the dark side of Tiesto would be.

It sounds mysterious, and spacey just like Tiesto, maybe more effects few more sirens and percussion, but incredibly good for your first. I'm very curious to know what program you use now.

Prometheos-Dude responds:

fl studio WOO, i go by a new name. Find me on soundcloud.com now as Altaiyer

Nice and that.

Just the same problem, the kicks are too distorted or high or something. Start with one thing at a time, maybe the strings or piano being built up first then bring in a drum loop, diversify that with percussion etc. Then, bring in the strings.

Still cool, even though the drums at first sound out of place.

Whoa.

Sounds like something you'd find on Classic Euphoria or something, but yeah watch the levels the kick is a bit distorted, love all your work so far.

Yeah, real nice.

Kinda acid - trance and ambient at the same time very nice, very clear and cool leads good buildups. Oh yes and of course what prgram do you use? I'd love to jump on the wagon.

Prometheos-Dude responds:

thank you, and um I'm using FL 7.

Actual funk, for a change.

loving the funk guitars, not often you get decent funk songs that are actual funk songs. If that made any sense at all.

Not really rave.

Its kinda rave, just not the usual, but it sounded quite like a mix between house, rave and old skool game sounds.

Nice, but try and diversify your drums and percussion a bit more, rather than the usual kick and snare.

Dj-Powerstorm responds:

Huh? The snares and the kick rn't the same. Anyway thnx.

I agree.

Yeah, I agree but I'm not gonna write out that whole review.

The vocals were cool, but you didn't bring them in later, would have given it a little more diversity.

Quite chill-out. Nothing all that catchy though. Nice synths and calm.

Try more of this stuff, I personally think Its your strong point.

Dj-Powerstorm responds:

Thnx but i would rather experiment with other styles as well.

Different, I'll give you that.

Its abstract, if you don't mind me saying. It was a little loud at some parts and not very clear to make out. Some parts were nice and calm for a few seconds then you brought in them muffled kicks. Its a good start. And you should try to make it more seamless.

Respect to the man in the Ice cream van.
